Wideband EPR spectroscopy of Y-=SUB=-3-=/SUB=-Al-=SUB=-5-=/SUB=-O-=SUB=-12-=/SUB=- : Ho-=SUP=-3+-=/SUP=- crystals

چکیده

EPR spectra of Ho 3+ impurity ions were recorded in single crystals yttrium aluminum garnet (Y 3 Al 5 O 12 ) the frequency range 114-170 GHz, at a temperature 4.2 K. The measurement results indicate substitution for Y dodecahedral position with D 2 local symmetry. magnitude g-factor, hyperfine structure constant, and energy interval between main first excited nondegenerate sublevels multiplet I 8 are determined. Weak satellite signals have also been registered, origin which is associated formation antisite defects environment paramagnetic centers.
